How to WAKE UP your MAKEUP!

1 Do some resurfacing  Even the best makeup can't give you radiant skin - which is where hyperbaric oxygen facial treatments come in. To get your own glow at home, minimize the apprance of pores with gentle clarifying pads (for example Arcona's Rasperry clarifying pads for $28), the smooth and hydrate with serum (for ex. 2 Focus on lashes  Swipe on purple mascara (it looks great with all eye colors, especially blue and green). For added drama grab some false lashes. Madonna's makeup artist likes to add five individual falsies along outer corners of upper lash lines. Glue at an angle so the ends are pointing outward "like your own lashes grow". (For ex. Yves Saint Laurent mascara in No. 5 Burgundy for $30)

3 Lighten up  To bring out the bone structure, use Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour cream ($20 Elizabetharden.com). Dab it on the apples of your cheeks and under brow bones (wear waterproof mascara to prevent smudging). The sheen reflects light and draws attention to your eyes.


4 Get power pout  To make lips more pronounced, line the top of the upper one with concealer. If your lips are dry or you want to avoid constant touch ups, swap matte stick for a waterproof stainless combo.
